The Item Upgrader in World of Warcraft
The War Within introduced two gear upgrade currencies, Valorstones and Harbinger Crests. These can be exchanged at the item upgrader NPCs, Cuzolth and Vaskarn.
Each item can be upgraded up to its maximum level once for the slot. Upgrades to that slot will be cheaper afterward. The pity system that was introduced with The War Within, also reduces the extreme variance of upgrades.
Upgrades
Upgrades are elements that boost performance or add new functions. Upgrades can be bought or earned in many ways like in-game events or cash shop items.
Upgrades are only available for specific items. In contrast to enchantments that can be added to anything but upgrades can only be applied to the item they are attached to. Therefore, an upgrade cannot be applied to a weapon when it is already equipped by the player. Some items can be upgraded multiple times to provide more benefits to the player.
The concept of upgrades is relatively new. It was introduced in patch 4.1.0. The upgrade system lets players combine additional improvements to equipment to increase its power, ranging from a simple boost in strength to massive damage and defense increases. The upgrades are split into tracks, and each has limitations on the amount of upgrade that can be completed. Those limits are designed to prevent players from spamming low-keystone dungeons in search of gear and then upgrading it up to.
Consumables, weapons, and armor are all upgradeable. item upgrades of gear can be upgraded after it drops. However, certain items (such Ornn's equipment and the baby Dracolich) aren't upgradeable. It is possible to upgrade gear by purchasing an upgrade recipe from a vendor and combining it with the item in the appropriate upgrade slot. One can check how many upgrades a piece of equipment has by looking at it's inventory icon or by searching for that item in the shop.
The upgrade system has two major disadvantages. First, it's sometimes difficult to determine what items are eligible for upgrade because upgrade vendors may not display all the upgrades available. In addition, the upgrade textures are rendered above the model of the item and can obscure enchantment glint and other details.
Upgrades can also be expensive. Every step in a gear's degree of improvement costs a specific amount of Valorstones or crests depending on the slot and the item level. Weapons generally require more crests and Valorstones to upgrade than gloves or bracers, for example. There are however a few items in the cash shop that can reduce the cost of upgrading.
Recycles
Many people are changing their buying habits as they become more aware of the environmental impact of single-use items. Some are buying high-quality products that last longer, or using their old gadgets to make a way around. Some people prioritize recycled products and seek the highest percentage of recycled content when buying. This trend will hopefully help reduce the amount of resources required to create and extract new materials, as well as create an environment that is more sustainable.
Recycling is an essential part of this process, and it is now easier for consumers to locate. Many items, including paper and furniture are made from recycled materials to them. These items are made from recycled or discarded materials. They can be purchased on the internet or in a store. These products aren't only more environmentally friendly, but they're also cheaper than comparable products.
When an item is leveled up it can be given additional bonuses along with its improved stat. The bonuses are based on the item's tier and may be of various types. Those with the higher tiers will get more bonuses than those with lower tiers.

As the world economy shifts from resource extraction to reusing and recycling increasing numbers of companies are making commitments to create products that are more sustainable. Many of them are focused on recycling materials and providing incentives to customers to recycle their products. As the demand for sustainable products rises, we will likely see more recycled products in stores and on the shelves.
Rerolls
In Genshin Impact - or any gacha game, for that matter - rerolling is an essential tool. Rerolling allows players to play again at the weapon or character they like, either because it is attractive or they think it's a great fit for their team.
Rerolls function by allowing players to refresh the items that are available for the current wave for a small amount of materials. The prices of these weapons increase when the number of rerolls within a row, but certain items may not be available at all (for example, a melee weapon will never appear for players who are only able to use ranged weapons).
When an item levels up it is able to enter the Staple Pool where it gains additional bonuses. These bonuses are based on the kind of item it is. For instance an upgrade that boosts the main stat of a weapon will also boost its secondary stat. If the item is rerolled, the additional stats will change.
When a player is in enough stamina to perform an reroll, they will be able to hit a button that has circling arrows to swap out their existing item for another one. The new item is of the same level, however different bonuses depending on whether it was the sword, book, or watch.
Rerolling does not reset an item's current levels of bonus, but the player will be required to meet minimum stat requirements for its special ability. It's not easy to find an item that has the bonus you want, but this allows them to test a different option in the future without spending any additional resources.
Upgrading an item won't just increase the value of its bonuses - it will also give the item a tier boost and, consequently, it will be guaranteed to gain a certain amount of bonus statistics when upgraded in the future. It is important to only upgrade your gear to the extent you can, as any future upgrades will not make a difference.
Sets
A set is a collection of items which share a common characteristic. They are frequently utilized in the mathematics field, and can be represented by an equivalence notation such as . Sets have many important properties, including the associative property and commutative property. These properties are essential for understanding how sets work and have real-world applications.
The items in a set can be upgraded for extra bonuses in the game. A set of armor pieces can boost the protection of the armour, while a weapon can provide an additional damage base. These additional stats are applied after the base stat, and before flats and percentages. The additional stats can be a great way to enhance the value of an item.
When an item is upgraded it will replace the base stat with the new stat. For example an item with 20 base damage would now have 40 base damage. It will also keep the previous armor value and upgrade requirements. This is a great method to purchase a premium item for a reasonable price.
Upgrading unusual items can be profitable, particularly if the item has an interesting mod. A rare belt that has +5 IAS for instance, could have a major impact on the strength of a build particularly in the early stages of hell. It's a great way to boost the value of a piece by adding an ideal or high-roll.
Item Upgraders work differently for set, unique and rare items. The item will typically be upgraded to its new base type after it is upgraded to level 10. For example upgrading an item that has the highest defense roll will result in an elite armor item with the same base type. This is not a guarantee, and in certain instances, an upgrade will not alter the type of item.
It is recommended to upgrade your BiS (Best in Slot) before moving onto non-BiS items. This will give the player an established base to build upon when they're trying to level up. They can then focus on advancing tiers and gaining additional stats.
